Ladybug

Blake found a ladybug at Mimi and Papa's house today. Hours of fun.

HOOP-LA

Today we went with Loreta and Will to Mimi and Papa's town library to watch a show on hoola hoops. The boys loved watching the lady twirling the hoops.
Blake enjoyed the hoop until he got whacked in the face by a nearby hoola hooper.
Will
Blake was a little hesitant after his hoop accident, but got up enough courage to climb into this hoop house the lady made. Moments after this photo was taken, the hoops crashed down on Blake's head.

Papa!

Papa was nice enough to let MiMi and I spend the day in Boston with some friends. He had a list of instructions and one of the items was to "take photos". He got this funny video of Blake eating his ice cream and being concerned that Papa was using my camera. Thanks Papa!!

Sled Ride

We are in Massachusetts for a bit. Snow has been falling all day. We went over to Will and Loreta's house this morning for some fun in the snow!

Library

We were so excited today to go and check out the library that was renovated and reopened just a block away. Blake was excited to walk instead of taking his stroller.

He also enjoyed reading this book about Passover.

Shake Shake Shake

Today at Poppyseed's they decorated cookies for Valentine's Day. Blake especially loved the pink frosting and red sprinkles.

Valentine Playgroup

We went over Narinn's house earlier in the week for a Valentine's playgroup. Thank you Nan and Narinn.

Snowstorm

We had a pretty big snowstorm yesterday. Blake was so excited to see snow when we stepped out bright and early to get our breakfast at the corner deli.In the late afternoon we ventured to Central Park.
John had been in Vegas on business. He almost got stranded there, but was able to catch a flight to Boston, then take the Acela to NYC. He arrived just in time to play in the snow!

We had fun playing with neighbors Caleb and Connor.

Rooftop Playground

The place where we take our gym class has an outdoor rooftop playground that they cover and heat in the winter.

Super Bowl

Tonight after his bath Blake noticed we had on the Super Bowl. He kept saying "football" "football" and immediately ran to get his football.

Dinosaurs

Blake has recently took an interest in dinosaurs. We stopped by the Museum of Natural History this morning to check some out.

Welcome Charles Sidney

Charles Sidney was born last night at 9:52 weighing 6lbs 12 oz.
I was a rock star friend and brought mom Shake Shack fries and a shake. Welcome to the "no epidural club" Sarah!

Connecticut Road Trip

Today we took a road trip to visit friends Laura, Daniel, and baby Rebecca. They moved to Connecticut last month and we couldn't wait to see them and their new house in the burbs!
The kids had fun playing together. There was so much space to run around.
Daniel had a ball pit in his living room!
Long day.

Lunch with Daddy

We met John for lunch today at the Michael Jordan Steakhouse in Grand Central Station. Daddy is always the best lunch date.Daddy singing Baby Beluga in Grand Central Station..... doesn't get better than that!Blake was enthralled by the beautiful ceiling in Grand Central. He kept pointing out all of the cool pictures.

Hard at Work

Blake has been hard at work making special gifts for some of his favorite valentines.We stopped by MAKE the other day and Blake painted some pottery.
We find out how it came out tomorrow.
Today at Poppyseed he worked hard on this heart magnet. I wonder who will be the lucky recipient?

Buddies

Tonight Caleb came over for dinner and a bath. We were excited because Caleb is leaving for sunny Miami tomorrow.
