Dog Run

Tonight after dinner we stepped out to visit our local dog run. Loving daylight savings.
Blake met this dog Sally and mentioned her throughout his entire bath.

Morning Playgroup

We have been having a small playgroup with some friends from Poppyseed every Monday morning. We call it the "testosterone playgroup" because it is all boys. Enjoying some bagels with friends Ben and Ben.

Today we met Brian, Ali, and Connor at the Children's Museum and then headed over to Shake Shack for some chow.
Yes, Blake ate an entire Shack burger.... then when he was done requested "more burger".

Before the Rain

I knew it was going to rain for a while in NYC, so the other day I brought Blake to Central Park. We were behind the Metropolitan Museum of Art where there was lots of room to run and run.... and run.

The monkeys were a hit.

Blake was afraid of the giraffes at first. He quickly warmed up to them and didn't want to leave. He hasn't stopped talking about them. They were definitely his favorite.
Gotta love the ducks.

Happy 2nd Birthday Caleb!

Blake's best buddy Caleb turned two last week, but had his party today. Eighteen of his friends came over tonight to help celebrate in their pajamas!Making a wish.
It was fun to see all the kids running around in their Pj's.
When most of the guest went home, the last few kids enjoyed the Elmo Goes to Bed video.

New Sneaks

We went shopping for new shoes today with Allie. Big news. Blake no longer has extra wide feet (only wide), so he was able to get real sneakers!

Potty

At Blake's 18 month checkup the pediatrician suggested I purchase a potty. I finally ordered one a few weeks ago. When I was changing Blake's diaper today he said "poopie on potty." He got this book and sat right down! I was certain he was going to be off by the time I came back from getting my camera. Nothing came out, but he sat there for quite some time.

Under the Sea

One of Blake's favorite exhibits at the Museum of Natural History is a room filled with ocean animals. He loves it mostly because it is dark and a huge space to run around.
Two monkeys named Blake and Caleb were found swinging under the sea.

Thigh Highs

Ellie and Kate's House

Blake was so happy to spend the day at cousins Ellie and Kate's house. The girls had so many horse things, including this gigantic one that talks. Blake was in heaven.
Blake couldn't keep his eyes off Ellie's pet fish.

Winter

We had so much fun today playing in the snow in Central Park.

We found these snow forts that Blake loved hanging out in.

Happy Birthday Jake

This morning we went to neighbor Jake's 3rd birthday party.
Blake was so proud to bring Jake's present down the hall.... but he started opening it halfway there.
Eating bagels with neighbors Sadie and Caleb.
Blake's favorite part were the cupcakes from CRUMBS bakery.

Snow Snow Snow

We had yet another big snowstorm today in NYC. Swim class was canceled so we crashed the G family's apartment early this morning.The boys loved watching the snowfall and seeing all the commotion down below. We saw someone carrying a stroller across the street!

Nothing is more fun than the $1 aisle at Target. It's the best. I wish they would open a Target on the UWS!
