Who's This Class For?

Today we went to a Saturday gym class so John could check it out.  I think John had more fun than Blake.

Bus Driver

Blake had fun pretending to drive a bus at a nearby park today with his friend Ella. 
Next stop is school Ella.  Beep! Beep!

Old Friends

Tonight we were invited to have dinner at an old friend's house.  We did gymnastics together for years and reconnected just recently (thank you Facebook).  Blake enjoyed a delicious meal with her sons Cameron and Drew.    
Blake had such fun playing with all of their toys and meeting their new puppy Hudson.

Pizza Pizza

I went out for dinner tonight with a friend.  Mimi and Papa babysat.  Blake apparently had pizza.  

On The Farm

We went to Davis's Farmland today with our friends Will and Loreta.

Fox Attack

Blake was taking a walk down Mimi and Papa's driveway when a fox decided to cross with her two babies.
Growing up in Brooklyn John isn't used to wildlife popping out of no where.  He ran to "save" Blake from the fox.  I took pictures.
John saves the day.

Bubbles in the Bath

Blake got bubbles to use in the bath for his birthday.  Pop Pop Pop.  

King Blake

Today at gym class there was a dress up area.  The teacher helped Blake transform into a king.  He kept the costume on for at least 5 minutes.  I couldn't find my camera, so I had to use my Blackberry.    

Hippo Park

Blake and I have been hitting all the Upper West Side parks.  The other day we went to Hippo Park.  There were lots of hippos spouting water.  Blake loved it.

Playgroup

We went to our Monday playgroup today.  This corral was perfect to keep all the kids in one place for a photo!  

Top of the Museum

Today we went to check out the fountains on the roof of the Museum of Natural History.  It was a little cool this morning, so my plan was just to check it out.  Blake had a different idea.  He nearly jumped out of the stroller when he saw the fountains.   

There was a small wading pool.  Blake kept crouching down to splash.
Soaking wet.  Next time we will come prepared with a bathing suit and swim diaper.

King of Pop

Blake pays tribute to his favorite musician.  He has been very interested in all the media coverage of Michael Jackson.  He really responds to his music and loves watching him dance.  Blake was almost 10 months when this video was taken.  

Sunny Day..... Finally

Today was a sunny day for the most part, so we decided to go to the playground.

My college roommate Karen was in the city and stopped by to blow some bubbles with Blake.

East Side

Blake and I ventured over to the Upper East Side today to visit our friends Andrea and Lukas.  We had a nice lunch and then went for a swim in their pool.
