Blake's friend Ava invited him over tonight to make pizza! Ava and Noah will be attending the same school as Blake in the fall.

New Hobby

Rock Climbing

Today Blake spent some QT with John while I went rock climbing for the first time.

This was called the "chimney" because of the way the rocks were so close together. It was my favorite climb of the day.

Pond

The Berkshires

Blake and I went to visit my friend and her kids this week at their country house in the Berkshires. Zach, Sophie, and Blake watching Curious George in the car. Blake didn't like dropping the kids off at camp, but was excited to pick them up at the end of the day.
The first day we were there it rained, so we went to the local community center where they had a great kiddie pool.
The only thing that would get Blake to bed at night, was reminding him he was going to have waffles with Zach and Sophie in the morning.

Weekend of WILL

My roommate from UNH came to visit for four days with her son Will.
The boys enjoyed the subway, but Will's favorite was definitely the "taxi cab!"

We stopped by to meet up with Will's friend Sean and his mom at the restaurant Mars 2112. There were martians walking around while you ate. The boys weren't the biggest fans...

Shake Shack Too

Tonight we were invited to visit the new Times Square location of the Shake Shack. It was only for friends and family so there were no lines! It's grand opening is next week. Thank you Mr. G. We had a blast!
Luckily Will and Loreta are visiting from Massachusetts. You can't get a burger like this up there!

Different decor than the UWS location. Mr. G explained the tables were made out of wood from lanes in old bowling alleys.

Yesterday it reached 102 degrees in NYC. Today wasn't much better. Thank goodness for that icy cold museum down the street!
