Gone Sledding

John and Blake went sledding twice this weekend in Central Park. I went along one of the times to take some pictures. Weeeeeeeeeeee........

In the afternoon we ventured out again with Allie. Blake was determined to build a snowman. We brought carrots and prunes to decorate our man. We stumbled upon this snowman practically in the street. We gave him some prune buttons.

Snow Day

We had another snowstorm last night. There was no school this morning, so we ventured across the street to the museum park with neighbors, Caleb, Connor, Sadie, and Rachel.
The streets were pretty messy.

Finally

Blake finally got his haircut by Jeffery today. Jeffery comes to our apartment and does my hair (and neighbor Maria's!).
Blake was excited at first to get a turn, but then just wanted it over with so he could get his lollipop.

Pit Stop

On our way back to NYC from Massachusetts Blake and I made a pit stop in Connecticut to visit Brooke and Julie. We shared some snacks.
Julie had a planned Valentine's Day art activity!

One Horse Open Sled

We had another big storm up in Massachusetts today. Blake and Papa were excited to go sledding.We went sledding near the hill we used to go to when I was little. The sled we used was mine from Christmas 1982, as was Papa's hat!

FAO Schwarz

We headed to FAO Schwarz today. It was Blake's first time. He didn't know where to look and had a big smile on his face the entire time. Giving the soldier out front a high five.

We went to Queens to the New York Hall of Science to celebrate Alice's 4th birthday. Matching smiles!

It's Been a While

Friends Marc and Angie were in town visiting from Virginia. Blake has grown quite a bit since he was one day old!
We had a delicious brunch at Sarabeth's. Marc was impressed that Blake ate an entire adult sized portion of french toast. Nice to see you both. Hope you had a good flight back..... and sorry about that Eagles/Packers game!

Happy New Year 2010

On New Years Eve Gianni cooked up a delicious I-talian meal at Mimi and Papa's house.He made a spinach calzone, pasta il forno, and some chicken franciase.

While we were in Newport, Blake was very busy with Mimi and Papa.They went to Build-a-Bear Workshop and Blake chose a blue dog.

The highlight of Blake's stay was going to see Sesame Street Live. He has talked about it nonstop, and has tried to recreate the songs and dances in the show.

Newport Rhode Island

John and I took a trip to Newport Rhode Island with Derek and Julie. We stayed at a beautiful hotel on the water. Touring the Breakers mansion.
