John had fun breaking open Blake's piñata at the end of his birthday party.

4 large bags of candy stuffed in two piñatas.  There were only 3 dum dum lollipops left behind ! 

Bathtub Float

Blake celebrated his 5th birthday (early) last week with his entire class and a few other friends.  He shared the day with his friend and classmate Michael.  An "animal lady" came and brought some neat animals.  Blake was in his glory!

We are leaving NYC soon to go live in the suburbs. The other day Blake sat down with his crayons and paper and said he was going to draw New York City, so we don't forget what it looks like. I love these.

We bought Blake a real bike today. He has been using a balance bike for sometime, but I didn't know how he would do when he had to peddle. John ran with him a few times, but then he got it right away! He was so proud of himself and so was I. Caden is still crazier than ever on the scooter. He loves going down the ramp- fast!

Blake had his first baseball game of the season. Caden really wanted to join in. Emerson was Blake's biggest fan!

The Proposal

Blake told me a few weeks ago Fiona in his class asked him something but it was a secret. In the next breath he told me she asked him to marry her. He said "maybe". We ran into her on the street after school a few days ago. They were so cute together I had to snap an inconspicuous picture.
