Radio Flyer

Blake had fun in his Radio Flyer wagon today.  First with his favorite dog Spike, then later with his gal pal Ella.

Reunited

Blake was so happy to be reunited with his Massachusetts buddies Will (6 months) and Ella (10 months).  But he was wondering where Brooke was!  

Lovin' Lunenburg

Blake had fun with Mimi and Papa while John and I went to the Wrentham Outlets.  Apparently he was able to help himself to his own snacks.

Spring Training

Blake has become really good at throwing and catching balls.  He really enjoys playing catch.  John is thrilled and already has him signed with the Mets.

Best Neighbors Ever

We are so lucky to have the best neighbors ever. Caleb James is just a few months older than Blake and his Mom and Dad are so nice. We had dinner with them tonight. The boys had fun hanging out. We are excited to meet Caleb's brother/sister in June!

Warm Wednesday

Later in the day we went to the park. It was so warm it felt like Spring!

Nine Months

It is hard to believe Blake is nine months old today. This morning we went to the pediatrician for his nine month check-up. He is 22lb 1oz and 29 inches. He is in the 74th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height. He had blood drawn (notice his finger below) and two shots. He was very brave.

Heat Wave

It has been slightly warmer weather in the city the past couple days, so we took advantage and went for a swing in Central Park. Blake smiles and laughs the entire time. Tomorrow is supposed to be 57 degrees!

Blake's Buds

Every Monday Blake and I have been going to a playgroup with 6-8 other babies and their moms. Today it was our turn to host. We had a Valentine's Day theme. I think both moms and babies had a good time. Here is Blake anxiously waiting for his friends to arrive. Snack Table.

Children's Museum

We are so lucky to live only a few blocks away from the Children's Museum of Manhattan. Blake had been a few months ago, but now that he is crawling around he really enjoyed himself. His favorite activity was the colored plastic balls.

Spoon Please

Blake recently began to show interest in feeding himself. The other night he had his first attempt at yogurt.

Playdate

Blake had a playdate today with his buddies Will and Barrett.

Special Delivery

Blake received a package today from his Nonna and Nono in Florida. It was his Christmas presents that we were unable to fit in our suitcases and some Valentine's Day surprises. His favorite thing was the box it all came in. He played in it for almost an hour.

Big Boy = Big Tub

Blake recently outgrew his infant tub. He now takes his bath in the big tub. He loves it.

Shake Rattle and Roll

Blake enjoyed jamming to the music at his class today.

Italians Eat Pasta

Blake had pasta for the first time today and like a good Italian..... he loved it!

Swimming

Blake started his swim class today at the JCC near our apartment. He went crazy splashing and laughing right away. Here he is suiting up for the occasion.

Mimi Toot and Papa Foot Visit

Mimi Toot and Papa Foot came to the Big Apple this weekend to visit and babysit while we went to a Superbowl party in New Jersey. Blake enjoyed swinging in Central Park, watching all of the television he wanted (including Bruce Springsteen's halftime show), and eating all kinds of new food with his Mimi and Papa. Blake also had fun playing with a great Christmas gift from Uncle Chris. Thanks for putting it together Papa!
