Fifteen Months

Blake turned fifteen months on Tuesday and today he went to the doctor for his check-up.  Blake weighed in at 26.5 pounds and was 32 inches long.  He is 75th percentile for weight, 75th percentile for height, and 75th percentile in head circumference. Perfect boy.

Puppet Show

Even though the weather wasn't great, we went to go see a puppet show on the pier this morning with friends Caleb, Connor, Allie, and Hayden.  The show was Sleeping Beauty.  Blake was interested for about five minutes and then preferred running around the pier.

Park Before Dark

Tonight we went to Central Park before dinner.  We checked out the ducks and turtles, then Blake ran around in the grass.
Picking some flowers.

Blake has recently enjoyed kicking balls.  John is ready to sign him up for the Italian soccer team.

Artsy Morning

This morning we stopped by the children's museum.  Blake was feeling very artistic.  I think he looks too grown up in this photo.

Madison Square Park

This morning we traveled all the way downtown to Madison Square Park for a kids concert.

Blake and Caleb admiring baby Connor.
Thanks for the Shake Shack burgers and fries Randy!
Too much dancing for Caleb James.  At least he is still holding on to his snack cup.
After a nap, we met friends Daniel, Reid, and Lindsay at a nearby park.  Then we all went for pizza and mac & cheese.
Blake getting his groove on at the concert.

Boardwalk

Blake (and John) really loved walking along the boardwalk.
Riding the carousel.
John played over a dozen games.
He had this one ball to show for it.  Blake was psyched.
Blake enjoyed all the lights and watching all the fun rides.
We ended the night with a great game of Pictionary.  Wild times.

Happy 1st Birthday Brooke!

We celebrated Brook's 1st birthday with some delicious cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
Brook opened her presents from Blake early in the morning.

Jersey Shore

We spent the weekend on the Jersey Shore with good friends Julie, Derek, Brooke, and Auntie Val.  We rented a cozy cottage near the beach and boardwalk.  This was a last minute trip, but we had so much fun, we hope to make this an annual event.

Museum Morning

This morning we went to the children's museum with our neighbors.  We were hoping to check out their outdoor summer water exhibit, but the weather didn't cooperate.  Here is Blake admiring a Dora the Explorer exhibit.
Talking on a phone in Dora's playhouse.
Blake has been into cars lately.  He calls anything with four wheels a "guck" (truck).
First time using play dough.
Climbing a dragon.

Buddies

Yesterday we met friends Daniel and Laura in Elephant Park.
Blake's hair is getting so long!
Umm... Yeah
Chilling out eating some graham crackers.  It is Blake's new favorite snack.
Caleb invited us over for dinner last night.  Caleb's Nana made homemade macaroni and cheese.  Blake had three helpings.  Thanks again guys!

Cousins

We were so happy that cousins Rachel, Joan, and Joanne came to visit us in Massachusetts.  Blake adores Rachel.
We managed to hit Kimball Farm and S. S Lobster all in one day.  Thanks girls for a fun visit and all your help!
Enjoying some ice cream.
Checking out the horses with Rachel.

These Boots are Made for Walking

Mimi bought Blake some new rain boots.  He had a little trouble walking in them at first, but now he brings them to me so I can help put them on.

Spa Weekend

Some friends from high school and I had a girls spa weekend at Wentworth By The Sea in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Relaxation.
Blake was lucky enough to spend some quality time at Mimi and Papa's house.
