Mistletoe Magic

We went to Rye, New York last weekend to attend the town's annual Mistletoe Magic.
There were horse drawn carriage rides.



We met up with buds Narinn and Reid. They loved riding the train by themselves.

Our favorite neighbor and friend Randy snagged up VIP passes to watch the Macy's Day Parade in front of the Museum of Natural History. It was AWESOME! We all had the best time.

We had doughnuts, bagels, and coffee in the lobby of the museum to warm up shortly before the parade started.

We visited Blake's classroom this morning to have a complete Thanksgiving feast with lots of little Pilgrims.

John took Blake this weekend to the Javits Center to meet the dogs that will be in the Westminster Dog Show.

Bernstein Bears

John took Blake to see the Bernstein Bears Live last weekend. Blake came home with a bear nose and told me Brother Bear was his favorite.

What Marathon?

On Sunday it was the New York City Marathon. We ventured out before any of the runners finished. Blake found it interesting because a few main and side streets around us were closed.

We didn't see any runners, but we did see Jerry Seinfeld and his wife walking. I was too chicken to get his face!

Finger Foods

Caden has been doing pretty well with eating his "puffs", so I decided to try real food. He had small pieces of sweet potato and avocado.
He was loving it. He couldn't get it into his mouth fast enough.
I guess I forgot how messy finger foods are. Next time, mat for the table and a hose nearby to wash him down immediately after..... oh yeah and a bib! whoops.

Early Turkey

Cousins Ellie and Kate will be in Florida for Thanksgiving, so we went out to New Jersey last weekend to have an early turkey dinner with them.
Blake was loving their backyard!

Daddy's Work

For the third year we visited John at his work on Halloween. Blake was so excited. As soon as he got to school he told his friends he was going to see his Daddy at work. He kept calling John's office his "apartment."
