Blake is making his way around the Halloween party circuit. Marci, William, and Sabrina were nice enough to host a fabulous Halloween bash. We brought spider cupcakes. A shark and a t-rex at play. Decorating pumpkins. Cheese!
They get really excited to see their Daddy. They walk and run down the long hallways. They sample all the delicious sweets. They spend time in the conference room. They help their Daddy with his work.
We met some friends from school at the Swedish Cottage Marionette theater in Central Park. It was a fantastic performance called Three, where they incorporated characters from The Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, Three Billy Goats Gruff, and Three Blind Mice. Blake was glued.
Blake's friend Narinn's mom is expecting twin girls this winter! I was happy to be able to celebrate at her shower this past weekend. Can't wait to meet the girls Nan!
Tonight neighbors Maria, Caleb, and Connor came over for turkey tacos (yes, I cooked!)The boys had trouble keeping the shells intact, but enjoyed the fillings. The night was wild and ended with a group shower.
We took Blake to the Bronx Zoo this weekend for Boo at the Zoo. Checking out the sea lions. We took a spooky hayride. It really was SCARY! They had a treat bag before you boarded the ride. Blake grabbed sour patch kids. I insisted he wouldn't like them. He ate the whole bag. Yuck. Elephants. I loved the rhino mom and baby.
